It's been a long process, but finally the revamped drutopia.org site is ready. It's a standard Drutopia build highlighting what you could do with a Drutopia site for your organization.

Skins are the variations of the presentation layer (or “theme” in Drupal lingo) that provides the look and feel of your site.

A key reason for using a content management system such as Drupal is to spread out the work of adding content to your site. Roles and user accounts make that possible.

The Drutopia distribution is built in a modular way, so that you can turn on and use only the particular “features” or pieces of functionality that you want on your site. Learn about the content type features you can choose from.

Your Drutopia site comes with a home page that will pull in elements from various content types as well as custom blocks that you can customize.
